Major Chinese stock markets release draft guidelines for sustainability reporting
China’s three major stock markets, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), and Beijing Stock Exchange (BSE), have released draft guidelines for sustainability reporting. The guidelines, if finalised, will require large cap and dual-listed issuers to provide sustainability disclosures beginning in 2026.
