EU Parliament approves the EU Commission's 'stop-the-clock' directive
On 3 April 2025, the European Parliament has approved the EU Commission's 'stop-the-clock' directive, delaying the implementation of key sustainability reporting and due diligence regulations, including the CSRD and CSDDD, by a large majority.
This decision, following the EU Council's approval, is part of the Omnibus I package aimed at reducing the regulatory burden on companies, especially SMEs.
