GRI seeks feedback on financial sector standards
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is consulting on new Sector Standards for Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance until 31 May 2025.
These standards aim to enhance transparency and sustainability reporting in financial services, which play a crucial role in the global economy by providing credit, investment, insurance, and payment services.
The proposed standards, developed by multi-stakeholder committees, focus on the impacts of financial services on the economy, environment, and society, and align with global frameworks like the OECD Guidelines and the Paris Climate Agreement.
The access to exposure drafts is available via the press release.
