Webcast on Introducing the ISSB Taxonomy

The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) released the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Taxonomy (ISSB Taxonomy)  on 30 April 2024.
This taxonomy aligns with the disclosure requirements set by the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards issued by the ISSB.
The IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Taxonomy 2024 includes disclosure requirements from:
  • IFRS S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information, issued in June 2023; and 
  • IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures, issued in June 2023.
Use of the ISSB Taxonomy allows companies to enable investors to search, extract and compare sustainability-related financial disclosures, supporting ISSB’s establishment of a  global baseline standards.
In the webcast, ISSB Vice-Chair Sue Lloyd and ISSB Technical Staff Tim Kasim introduce the ISSB Taxonomy, highlighting its key features and the benefits to investors, companies and regulators.
