Peter Wuyts

Peter Wuyts has approximately 30 years of relevant experience in assisting and advising companies and executives on individual tax, social security and employment law, immigration, compensation and general planning. He has worked for companies of all sizes (including listed companies) and in all sectors. He is responsible for various mandates for international and national clients, dealing with international employment structures as well as local tax, social security and labor law planning.  

Peter has extensive experience in coordinating international mobility programs for clients with a regional or global decision center in Belgium, as well as for Belgian subsidiaries of foreign headquarters. He is a specialist in equity compensation plans, both in the design and implementation of Belgian plans and in the adaptation of foreign plans to the specific Belgian legislation. He has a hands-on approach to client service and has demonstrated added value by serving a large number of listed and private companies.  

At BDO, Peter heads the Belgian International Mobility Services team. He is also the Chair of BDO’s Global Employer Services (GES) Center of Excellence, coordinating BDO’s international GES operations.
